Services

Since 1942, Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center has been providing quality mental health and substance abuse treatment in the Southern California area.  With nine centers throughout Los Angeles County, the agency servces more than 44,000 individuals a year and provides a variety of services, including:

  • A 24-hour suicide crisis line.
  • Counseling for families that find themselves in emotional trouble.
  • Help for individuals with long-term psychiatric conditions to improve their quality of life.
  • Substance abuse and prevention counseling for both teenagers and adults with drug and alcohol related problems.
  • Community outreach programs that, in collaboration with schools and other organizations in the area, provide crisis counseling and support for those affected by a traumatic event.
  • Training programs for M.A., M.S.W., M.F.C.C. and Ph.D./Psy.D. candidates from universities such as UCLA and USC.
