John McGann

John McGann joined Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center in 2005 as Vice President of Finance and Administration. He brings to the Agency more than 30 years of experience in financial and administrative management in both the public and private sector.

Before joining Didi Hirsch, Ms. McGann served for 13 years as Vice President of Finance and Administration for Frantz Medical Development, a designer and manufacturer of medical devices and surgical equipment. Prior to Frantz Medical, John was the Chief Financial Officer of the Cleveland Museum of Art, a non-profit cultural and educational institution.

Mr. McGann began his business career with the accounting firm KPMG after receiving his degree in business administration from Kent State University. While at KPMG, he earned his CPA certificate and was responsible for a broad spectrum of clients from the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. He also served as an instructor in the Firm’s national training program.

In addition to his professional career responsibilities, Mr. McGann was president of the Alumni Advisory Council to the College of Business at Kent State and was a director and president of the NE Ohio Chapter of the Financial Executives Institute. He has also served on the boards of several not-for-profit social service and United Way agencies.
